01How to read them

Guides, not rules.

We invest in established businesses with revenue of $10M–$100M and EBITDA of $2M–$15M, with positive cash flow, a gross margin above 25% and an EBITDA margin above 10%, based in the United States or Canada. We invest through control or significant minority stakes, in family successions, management buyouts, corporate carve-outs and recapitalizations. The ranges guide where we spend our time; they are not a promise to invest, and every investment is decided by Caldrion’s investment committee.

Caldrion is a single family office: it invests only its own capital, has no outside investors or clients, and does not offer securities.

02What to send

A complete package.

Links, not files. A complete package gets the fastest answer.

  • Link to the teaser (we request the CIM under NDA)
  • Link to trailing three-year financials (P&L and balance sheet)
  • Overview of the ownership structure and transaction goals

03Outside our mandate

What we don’t do.

  • Early-stage companies, startups and pre-revenue businesses: they are the remit of Caldrion Ventures.
  • Businesses without positive cash flow, and turnarounds that depend on a rescue rather than on improvement.
  • Companies based outside North America (the United States and Canada).
  • Passive minority stakes without board representation.
  • Strategies that depend on leverage or financial engineering rather than on operating improvement.
  • Listed companies and public-market positions: Caldrion holds listed equities separately, for liquidity.
  • Investing on behalf of anyone else: we invest only Caldrion’s own capital.
